Are the prices live?
Yes — when you run a search, Stucly fetches current public listings from each supported retailer. Saved estimates remember the price at the moment you searched, and you can refresh any time to see what’s changed.
Where do the prices actually come from?
The retailers’ own public product pages. Stucly doesn’t resell anything, isn’t affiliated with the stores, and isn’t a marketplace. We surface and summarize what’s already on the public web.
What does the AI estimator actually do?
You describe a project in plain language. Stucly drafts a structured materials list — items, quantities, units — then looks up Canadian prices for each one. You can refine the list with follow-up prompts and swap retailers to see how the total moves.
Is it only for Canada?
For now, yes. Stucly prices in CAD against Canadian retailers and respects Canadian conventions (mix of metric and imperial, provincial stock realities). Expansion outside Canada isn’t on the near-term roadmap.
How does the free plan work?
5 material searches and 1 active project per month, with the AI estimator and Home Depot, Canadian Tire, and Home Hardware coverage. Pro lifts those caps and adds Rona, AI refinement, and retro tracking. No credit card required for the free tier.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — no clawbacks, no per-search overage charges. If you’re unhappy within 14 days of a charge, email us and we’ll refund it, no questions asked.
